Porsche never rests on its laurels, whether on the road or the race track, and 2009 was once again a year of constant activity with the launch of a number of new models and new facilities both in the UK and Germany. The good news is that 2010 is set to be another exciting year for the Stuttgart sports car manufacturer, with further announcements and new model introductions planned.

2009 marked the introduction of the new generation Boxster and Cayman, plus the Cayenne Diesel, and the motor sport-inspired 911 GT3 and 911 GT3 RS. Furthermore, the 911 Turbo marked its 35th anniversary with a new 500bhp engine that underlined its reputation as the definitive high performance sports coupe. These were joined at the end of the year by the lightweight Boxster Spyder and the limited edition 911 Sport Classic.
